Important Insurance Information
If you’re covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private commercial insurance such
as Blue Cross or Humana, chances are you can receive diabetes test supplies for
little or NO COST. Of course, any normal deductibles and co-pays apply as usual.
Here’s How It Works
AmMed Direct is a participating Medicare provider. So, if Medicare is your primary
insurer, Medicare pays 80% of your diabetes test supply costs once your annual deductible
is met. If you have supplemental insurance, it may cover your 20% co-pay. AmMed Direct is
also a participating Medicaid provider in many states. The cost of your test
supplies may be covered if Medicaid is your primary or secondary insurance provider. Please
